Progress Apace At Redcliff Quarter

The South West branch of the Association of Women in Property has paid a return visit to Redcliff Quarter to view progress at the £180m regeneration project in the heart of Bristol.

Since their first visit six months ago, work has progressed apace, with the first residential block due to be complete next month. The first phase of Redcliff Quarter comprises 128 residential units, acquired by A2Dominion, who will market them under their FABRICA brand for private rent.

Redcliff Quarter, which is being developed by Change Real Estate in a joint venture with Cannon Family Office and ICG Longbow, is one of the city’s most exciting regeneration projects. The £180 million, 600,000 sq ft development is transforming a derelict and little used area in the heart of Bristol into a vibrant centre that will make a positive contribution to the city. The mixed-use development will comprise residential, restaurants, hotel, offices and a European style food hall, and will provide much sought-after link between the Harbourside and new development around Temple Meads.

Helen James, from Gleeds, who organised the Women in Property event said, “The event created a lot of interest from members and non-members demonstrating how keen people are to see what developments are happening in the heart of Bristol.

“It is a great opportunity to see a construction project in progress, and to see how work has progressed since our last visit, including the creation of the new show home.”

Paul Thomas, Area Manager for A2Dominion added, “It was great to be part of such a well-received event and to showcase the different stages of development at our Fabrica@Redcliff Quarter rental scheme.”

The event was hosted by Galliford Try, the main contractor at Redcliff Quarter, and one of the country’s leading house building and construction groups.
